The field of architecture and design is being increasingly influenced by the advancement of technologies and the introduction of the diverse-making process. The built environment is a result of interdisciplinary conversations among diverse stakeholders catering to state-of-the-art demands. With increasing access to new technologies, professionals are redefining the way we create, inhabit, and celebrate architecture. The design landscape across South Asia represents plurality and diversity of the cultural richness, geographical variety, and material exploration across these regions. The exhibition at the CAADRIA 2023 will focus on built projects, particularly from India, on the latest development under broader catergories in the field of computational design. The projects are selected in reference to the conference's area of inquiry.
This year's exhibition will be hosted at the CEPT University's Library and is curated by Urvi Sheth, Rishav Jain, and Subin Jameel.
CAADRIA 2023 invites students, faculty members, and academics to submit their work as part of undergraduate or postgraduate, or doctoral studies in the thematic areas of the conference. These academic projects will be exhibited as Posters in the exhibition (size A1 Portrait only). The projects can respond to any one or more themes in domains of Artificial intelligence and machine learning in design, Building Information Modelling, Climate change and sustainability, Digital Heritage, Generative, algorithmic & evolutionary design, Interactive environments, Bio-designs, Structural performance-based design and optimization, Robotics, digital fabrication, and construction, Innovative material systems and manufacturing methods, Theory, philosophy & methodology of computational design research, Urban analytics, big data analysis, and smart cities, Urban modeling and simulation, VR/AR/XR.
This is an excellent opportunity to showcase academic work done over the last 3 years.
The poster acceptance will be subject to a reviewing process by the exhibition curatorial team. The display of the poster at the exhibition will be subject to relevance to themes, compliance with submission deadlines, and formatting guidelines.
A draft poster shall be submitted to caadria2023exhibition@cept.

CAADRIA 2023 invites students, faculty members, and academics to submit their prototypes as part of undergraduate or postgraduate, or doctoral studies in the thematic areas of the conference. These prototypes will need to be physically sent to be exhibited as 1:1/scaled models/prototypes in the exhibition.
This is an excellent opportunity to showcase 1:1 scale prototypes or scaled models/prototypes developed over the last 3 years.
The prototype acceptance will be subject to a two-stage reviewing process by the exhibition curatorial team. We invite proposals consisting of a 3-4-page PDF showing the documentation of the prototypes and CV. Once the proposal is accepted, the prototypes will have to be shipped or broght in person to the exhibition venue for display. Please note that CAADRIA offers an opportunity to display the prototypes at the international conference, the shipping, logistics and any related cost will have to be borne by the participant themselves.
Proposals shall be submitted to caadria2023exhibition@cept.
